The caller, claiming to be an officer representing the FCSO, states that they have a warrant for the call recipient's arrest for failure to appear for jury duty.  The caller then provides instructions not to hang up their phone, to go to a local store and purchase pre-loaded debit cards for a specific dollar amount (that is their fine), and then transfer the card funds to the caller - or they will face arrest.

THIS IS A SCAM!  It is absolutely not the practice of the FCSO to contact individuals in this way.  If you receive a call of this nature, DO NOT make any type of payment.  Take note of the caller's phone number, the amount being requested, and immediately contact the police department of the town you reside to report this fraudulent activity.
